PADDLING INTO SOME GREAT AUTUMN SCREENINGS

Hello to you all and thanks for your support throughout the spring and summer of 2009. It's been a great one with screenings of Believe, Home, Powers of Three, Seaworthy, The Present and Searching for Michael Peterson.
September is a time for catching some of the great swells arriving on our beautiful coasts, fingers crossed fore a classic start to the season! There are some great events happening with Ocean Daze at Sennen Cove, the Tom Greenway memorial contest and party in St Ives and many other end of summer blow outs.
At The Surf Screen we will be busy (between surfs) setting up screeings to be announced for October, a big one will be Board Shorts. Board Shorts is the UK's only surf themed short film event, regularly attracting crowds of 500+ surf movie fans. It's an amazing event and this year it will be held on The University College of Falmouth grounds at Tremough, in The Stannery.
