THE SURF SCREEN NEWS

Hello, time for an update..

The dates and venues for the Uk tour of The Present are out!

If you want to see this fantastic film you need to act quickly or make sure you get to venues early to secure a seat.

Thomas Campbell is trying to encourage us all to support the reinstatement of Surf Movies on the BIG screen. It's a great vision and one that The Surf Screen shares, so we are so stoked to be bringing this amazing film to you.

Surf movies are an intrinsic part of our shared surfing culture, they are the glue that bonds us through shared experience, a rare opportunity in this time of the individual to come together in celebration as a community.

Independent surf film makers are driven by passion and some are fortunate enough to have great talent; natural, or earned through hard slog and experience. Either way these talented passionate folk and their projects, need to be cherished and fostered. Different from still images and text, surf films represent unique visions of our surf culture that genuinely bring the magic of surfing and it's context to life. The Surf Screen wants to inspire you, our curious audience to be inspired and through your attendance support the ongoing sustainment of production of bold and innovative projects, aimed at continuing the flow of stoke between us all.

Let's work together to enrich our surf culture...

We would love to hear about any screening ideas, maybe we can work together to bring an event to you, or maybe you might have a film that needs to be shared, through Board Shorts and/or The Surf Screen?

Please feel free to get in touch, just check out the contact page.
